Collaborate2031 brings together community leaders, residents, and businesses to identify shared goals and channel resources toward what matters most for Horry County's future.
By coordinating efforts across sectors, Collaborate2031 creates the conditions for sustainable economic growth that expands opportunity for every resident and community across the county.
Collaborate2031 establishes clear benchmarks and accountability structures so the community can track meaningful outcomes and see real results over time.
Rooted in strong partnerships and a renewed commitment to collaboration, Collaborate2031 unites diverse voices to improve quality of life and build a more connected, resilient Horry County.
Collaborate2031 is led by a steering committee organized by Partnership Grand Strand, the nonprofit foundation of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) and Visit Myrtle Beach. The committee is made up of community leaders, elected officials, business representatives, and residents who are committed to shaping a stronger future for Horry County.
There are several ways to participate. Starting in March 2026, we asked residents to share their priorities and vision for Horry County's future via our Resident Input survey. That survey is now complete and we are using the data gathered to inform future initiatives for engaging residents with further community listening. Residents, community leaders and business owners looking for more information on getting involved with Collaborate2031 are encouraged to contact Partnership Grand Strand Executive Director BJ Beaver. As the project evolves, additional opportunities for community engagement will be made available on this page.
